Sergiu Man is Director of Projects, Control Systems and Software at Emerson, based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where he leads the Projects organization within the European Center of Excellence. His scope includes control systems and industrial software, supporting complex automation projects across Europe.
With more than 15 years of experience in industrial automation, Sergiu has held senior technical and leadership roles in power generation, renewable energy, life sciences, and chemical industries. His work focuses on the design, delivery, and modernization of industrial control systems, combining system architecture expertise with large-scale project execution.
Sergiu holds a PhD from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (UTCN), with part of his doctoral research conducted at Politecnico di Torino, focusing on signal processing and machine learning. His current interests include control system modernization, software-centric automation architectures, and the application of digital and AI-based methods in industrial systems.

Sebastian Ciceu is a Principal Computer and Network Infrastructure Engineer at Emerson, with extensive experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity, industrial infrastructure, and DeltaV-based systems. He supports large-scale industrial automation projects across Europe, providing technical leadership on secure architectures, cybersecurity compliance, and infrastructure reliability.
Throughout his career at Emerson, Sebastian has held roles spanning cybersecurity engineering, lifecycle services, and presales support, working hands-on with technologies such as Trellix ePO, Endpoint Security, Application Control, SIEM integrations, and industrial networks. He has been actively involved in system hardening, incident troubleshooting, proposal development, and the alignment of technical solutions with standards such as IEC 62443 and NIS2.
With a background that combines technical depth and customer-facing experience, Sebastian is recognized for translating complex cybersecurity requirements into practical, operations-focused solutions for mission-critical industrial environments.
